The Comox Valley is fiercely proud of our veterans, and we wear our poppies as a sign of our recognition and respect for those who gave their lives for our freedom.

On October 30th, the Poppy Flag was raised at City Hall by Mayor Jangula to signify the beginning of our annual Poppy Campaign, where our legion raises funds to support veterans and their families, as well as local organizations they are likely to receive support from as well.
